School Report Card
Letter from the Principal
Dear Porter Ridge High School Community,
As parents, students, and community members, each of you plays a vital role in the success of your child and of Porter Ridge High School as a whole. One of the ways we communicate student progress is through Report Cards, which are sent home each grading period. In addition, once a year, we share updates on our school’s overall performance through the North Carolina School Report Card.
This report from the NC Department of Public Instruction includes important information about student achievement, growth, attendance, class sizes, school safety, instructional resources, and teacher qualifications. It also shows how our school performed in comparison to state and federal expectations. You can view data for our school, our district, and North Carolina’s public education system as a whole.
We are thrilled to announce that Porter Ridge High School “Exceeded Expected Growth” for the 2024–2025 school year! This outstanding accomplishment reflects the dedication of our students, teachers, and staff, who continue to work tirelessly to grow and achieve at high levels.
You can view the full School Report Card for our district and all North Carolina schools by visiting https://www.dpi.nc.gov/data-reports/school-report-cards, or view Porter Ridge High School’s specific report here: PRHS 2025 Report Card.
We encourage you to take time to explore our Report Card and to visit our school website to learn more about our programs and opportunities. Porter Ridge High School is proud of its strong tradition of academic excellence, community involvement, and athletic success, and we remain committed to building on this legacy through rigor, relevance, and relationships.
